Charlotte&Simon at Rutland Water

I always revisiting Rutland Water inspiring, especially on a hot summer day when the area holds its own and provides beautiful setting to telling people’s love story. It’s canvas one wants to fill with colours, emotions, laughter and landscape. I therefore couldn’t be happier when I heard back from Charlotte and Simon to decide that it would be here where we’d meet to take their pre-wedding photos.

As I got to know Charlotte and Simon closer, I started to picture their wedding already, coming up with ideas and prompts to document it later on this year in October. Time flies fast these days and as we go through the summer, I can’ t wait till I see these two again on the day they vow their love to one another in the company of their close ones. I’m also quite certain I’ll be coming back to the photographs created during this shoot as they make me feel joyful and filled with hope as what to come.

Rosie&James Wedding, Rutland

The hot days might be over, for now at least , but certain type of heat remains within. James and Rosie vowed to each other during a very sunny, hot and intimate ceremony at the Normanton Church, Rutland with their closest family and friends present. As I go through the photographs from their big day I can’t stop but thinking how lucky we are to have our loved ones near and share our deepest emotions with. This wonderfully organised wedding served as a somewhat reminder to me. And for that, as well as for the opportunity to be able to photograph at one of the most beautiful areas here in the UK, I think I might get back to revisiting this wedding more often than not.

Thank you so much again Rosie and James for the opportunity to document your love story!

I’ve known Yuliya and Alex for just over a year now and when they got in touch with me again to shoot a sequel to a very interesting and fun sessions from last year, I couldn’t be happier. But there was an extra to be had. Yuliya got in touch with a local gentleman who’s property and its gardens are recognised by the National Gardens Association and once I stepped into that realm of fabulous and blooming nature, I was possessed instantly. As we walked around and shared a laugh or two (, and more :), ) we captured memories again, which are here to stay.

I hope we’ll have part three sometime in the future. And I can’t wait to see what it brings.

Hannah & Duncan Engagement Shoot

I’m so happy that we’re able to get back out there again and enjoy nature, people, all the experiences we took for granted before March 2020. I’m shaking that time off as I’m typing (, ufff, please! No more!) Now that we’re out and about again I cannot stop grinning and I’ve got a feeling this positive face spasm is here to stay! Then, there’s Hannah and Duncan. Seriously! Two people who instantly, from the very first minutes you meet them, generate such energy that it’s genuinely over-taking your senses and positively influencing a creative drive!

We met one of these days when it actually didn’t rain. Well, not that much at least :) but boy, were we there for a treat! The beautiful gardens of Coton Manor, Northamptonshire/Leicestershire border provided a magical setting to telling this visual story.

Whilst enjoying our conversations on a number of topics, I could not skip to notice the love between Hannah and Duncan. A genuine, passionate, empowering and fulfilling on so many different levels. I seriously cannot wait to document your wedding in July! And I already know it will be a great one!

Fuji X Passion Feature

It’s always great to learn new things, especially when you find yourself comfortable with some habits. For me “comfortable” meant “lazy” and I don’t do “lazy”. And this has lead me to learning and converting to CaptureOne, a somewhat different mean to professional output delivery and client satisfaction. So heads up, this is gonna be technical and mostly directed at those of you who love photo editing as much as I do.

I have recently been asked to write a feature article for Fuji X Passion on my road from using Adobe Creative Cloud suite, the established business standard I have been using for years, to the new kid on the block, Capture One Pro. And once I finally did I was up for a really great surprise and, in my mind, even better professional outcomes, which I can’t wait to deliver to my clients this year. So “Read all about it!!!” here ( if you dare). And if it helped you drop me a line. The professional community is growing and I have loved to establish some new connections and friendship through sharing these experiences.

In requiem to continuously recording memories.
